The Center for Rural and Appalachian Health brings together faculty and staff expertise from the Office of Public Health Practice, the Tennessee Institute of Public Health, Tennessee Public Health Training Center-LIFEPATH, Academic Health Departments, and others from across the college of public health and a range of partner organizations. The Center serves as the infrastructure to better respond to needs of the public health workforce, establish collaborations with policy and practice communities, align and disseminate research, and enhance the capacity of the college to support a wide range of community activities.
